This cartoon seems simple at the first sight but enlightening on the second thought. In the picture, there is a youngster, shouldering a huge basket of apples and sharing them with other individuals, with happy smiles on their faces. Although this guy possesses all these fruits, he is willing to share. Finally, several Chinese characters can be noticed, which say that the essence of friendship lies on sharing.
Such a scenario, apparently, can be naturally associated with the close relation between friendship and sharing. To be specific, in reality, a host of people prefer to share their knowledge, experience and even fortune with others in need. This phenomenon is particularly worth concerning. It is this sharing spirit that enables them to deepen friendship and gain trust from friends. A case in point is the guy who shares in the picture. As a vital virtue, sharing can bring us authentic friendship, arouse our enthusiasm for life and helps us enjoy more delight. Unfortunately, some people’s reluctance to share has constituted an obstacle that hinders their opportunities to make more friends.
I, as a college student, deem that it is of great necessity for youngsters to gain friendship and support by sharing with others. Everyone should bear in mind that sharing can be likened to a gate, leading to friendship.
