To my delight, you’re interested in the Double Seventh Festival. I’m writing to introduce this traditional Chinese festival to you.
The festival is also known as the Chinese Valentine’s Day, which falls on the seventh day of the seventh month of the Chinese lunar calendar. It was said that a cowherd called Niulang married a weaver girl, Zhinü, who came secretly from heaven. However, Zhinü was later forced to return to heaven. Every year on the night of July 7 they were allowed to meet on the Magpie Bridge across the Milky Way. Nowadays, some minorities celebrate the festival through special activities. But generally young people nationwide celebrate it by sending flowers, chocolates, and other presents to their sweethearts.

Paragraph 1:
I ended up buying a car-teaching textbook online for 18 dollars. The next day, I told the student that I had purchased this book for him to use in reading class. He asked, “How much is it?” I told him. Then his eyes almost filled with tears as he replied, “You spent 18 dollars for me?” At that moment, I realized it wasn’t about the book. He was surprised that someone would worry about his education, about his possibility of being moved to the normal prison, and about his future.

The textbook came in a few days later. After receiving the book, he eagerly read it. I assigned sections of it for reading comprehension. He did well in it. He kept a dictionary nearby. When he came across a word he couldn’t find in the dictionary, he would turn to me. Apparently, I positively influenced the student. Gradually, he behaved much better and began to cooperate with the center. He didn’t repeat his sentence. Later, he went to college and majored in Engineering.
