I visited the Great Wall with my friends. It is in the north of China, with along history. It is more than 6,000kilometres long and 4 to 5 metres wide. Itis one of the greatest wonders of the world.
When we arrived, it was raining. Ten minutes later, therain stopped and the clouds cleared. We began to climb. But in half an hour, one of my friends felt very tired and wanted to stop. We told him, “He who has never been to the Great Wall isnot a true man.” So he had a break and then followed us. At last, we got tothe top of the Great Wall.
How beautiful it was when we looked at the sight from thetop. We were proud of the Great Wall.
I’m glad tolearn that you are coming to Australia for holiday. Australia is very beautifuland there are many interesting places to visit. When you are in Australia, I think oneof the best sights is Ayers Rock. It’s a natural wonder in the centre ofAustralia and it’s nearly 3 kilometres long and 348 metres high. To yoursurprise, the colors of the rock are very fantastic. At different times of theday, they change from purple to red. Millions of visitors come there to enjoythe wonderful natural wonder every year. I’m sure you will have a good time ifyou choose to visit there.
I’m lookingforward to your coming to Australia.

NowI’d like to introduce something about a man-made wonder — Canton Tower inGuangzhou, China. Canton Tower, also called Slim Waist, is in Haizhu,Guangzhou and it’s 125 metres away from the south of the Zhujiang River. It’sabout 600 metres tall, so it’s the first tallest in China and the secondtallest in the world. The workers started to set up the building on November25th, 2005 and it took them nearly five years to finish it. On October 1st,2010, it’s open to the public. On top of it, you can enjoy all the beautifulsights of Guangzhou. Come and visit it.
