Notice
We’re planning to set up a class where students can learn Chinese brush calligraphy. The class is to be held every Thursday from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the school hall since next month. As you know, Chinese brush was considered as one of the Four Treasures of the Study, which played a very important role in the development of traditional Chinese calligraphy. However, nowadays, many of us are poor in Chinese brush calligraphy. So we have decided to open a class to help students learn this form of traditional art and enjoy it. If you’re interested in the class, please prepare a Chinese brush. For more information about signing up, please contact us by sending an email to CBC@126.com.

Paragraph 1:
Then he pulled the bag of decorations over to the Christmas tree and went to work. I watched with delight as he extended his little hands and hung a play-dough soldier “just right” at his level on the lowest branch. Then he picked up a play-dough wreath and observed it for several minutes before placing it alongside the play-dough soldier. He turned, wiped his forehead and sighed. “Oh! I’m really tired.” Trying hard not to laugh, I asked, “Kid, would you like some hot chocolate? You’ve been working awfully hard.” Randy applied, “Yes, grandma.” After filling his stomach, Randy continued the decoration job.
Paragraph 2:
A moment later, Randy realized the decorations were made too low on the tree. Seeing that, I said, “Kid, let me hold you up to help you do it.” Randy smiled, “No, grandma. It will make you tired. I can make it.” Then, he pulled a chair there. I supported his body when he did the decoration. When the dusk approached, his mother walked in. Finding most branches were bare, she whispered to me, “Don’t worry, Mom. We’ll redecorate your tree.” Somehow, Randy heard it; his lip stuck out and his head was lowered. I shook my head, saying, “No. It’s perfect now with Randy’s decorations.” What I said made Randy proud and extremely happy. I would never forget that moment.
