During the Warring States Period, Shang Yang made some new rules. To make people follow the rules, he had a great idea. One day, he let people put a 10-meter long pole at the south gate of the capital and said whoever would get a lot of money if he could carry the pole to the north gate. No one believed it, but a brave and strong man did it and got the money. Finally, people believed in Shang Yang and all the rules worked well.
